The A.C.E.S. MDF is the nerve center of the A.C.E.S. Building.  There are three rows of racks in the MDF, one for fiber optic cable and equipment, one for copper cable and equipment, and a third empty row of 16 racks for future expansion.  On the east wall there is storage for the patch cables used to connect the building wiring to the networking hardware and on the west wall are the telephone blocks and the A.C.E.S. servers.  If you would like more information about the layout of the MDF please look at our detailed views of both the Copper Network Racks and the Fiber Optic Network Racks.
